Green Thumb Theatre Presentation 
Today students enjoyed a presentation called Show Down!, presented by Green Thumb Theatre.  This program featured excellent topics that included:  being yourself, recognizing diversity, being a good friend, as well as acknowledging that 'being our best' doesn't always mean being first or winning.  I hope that your will hear about this presentation from your child.

Winter Weather
It appears that winter weather is here!  Thank you for sending in inside shoes and having your child come to school with winter wear [hats, gloves, warm jackets, snow pants,  and warm foot wear].  I have put out our class's snow pant rack to ensure that your child is able to have fun outdoors.  Please remind your child of the importance of bringing, and wearing the appropriate clothing for our weather.  I love seeing your child each day! 

Can You Help?
Our class will be having a Science Center in the coming weeks.   This is a 'hands on' exploration center that allows students to work independently or in small groups on science activities.  If you have any of the following items, your support would be greatly appreciated:
- red, yellow, blue food colouring
-'dirty' pennies (I will return these cleaned!!)
- corks
- metal lids (bottle caps)
- plastic lids (bottle caps)
- pop - cans preferred (2-3 cans would be great - clear soda is best!)
-baking soda
-vinegar
-several 2 litre pop bottles

I am also looking for some art materials.  If you have these items, we'd appreciate your support. 
- 6 x 6 plain white tiles (bathroom)
