Thank you to our Math Mothers, Mrs. Funnell, Mrs. Nessman, and Mrs. Sczebel, who led students in activities focused on skills of money and time.  Students are learning the value of coins as well as how to use money in simple math problems; time skills of reading analog clocks to the hour, 1/2 hour, as well as 1/4 hour.   Any review of these skills that you can assist your child with at home is very much appreciated.  Thank you to our Math Mothers for choosing to spend part of their morning with us.   We appreciate you!

Axis Theatre Presentation

Today's performance of the fable Hamelin performed by Axis Theatre centred on a fresh retelling of the Pied Piper of Hamelin.  Themes that this presentation focused on were telling the truth, keeping  your word, and being a good citizen rather than bullying your neighbours.  I hope that your child will have a memorable moment that they will share with you.
