FIRE SAFETY

Today students/staff/families participated in another unexpected Fire 'Drill' at the beginning of our day.  For the most part students did exceptionally well.  We appreciate your support as families in following the protocol of safety as well.  As a class, we reviewed expectations of getting quickly ready in the mornings, including wearing shoes.  Please review with your child the importance of following expected safety routines, as well as the importance of never pulling an alarm unless it is absolutely necessary...and when in doubt...ask an adult for help.

Thank you to our MARVELOUS MATH MOTHERS:  Mrs. Gallup, Mrs. Nessman, Mrs. Piva, and Mrs. Simpson, who led students in Math & Science activities today.  Students worked on communication skills as well as building an 'edible soil sample' and participating in a seed lab.  What a fantastic morning.  Many thanks to our fearless leaders!!  Enjoy an extended Spring Break.  We will see you in April!

VALENTINE'S DAY
Today students participated in a variety of Valentine's activities involving math (probability, data, graphing) as well as a Science STEM project. 

I appreciated the students enthusiasm and attention to their lessons.  What a wonderful day for showing our caring for our learning, friends, and teachers.

Thank you to all class members for participating in Valentine's exchange, as well as wearing red, pink, or white for this festivity!  FUN!!
