O'KEEFE RANCH FIELD TRIP ON MONDAY!!

1.  Read

HOT DOG ORDERS:  Due:  Tuesday, May 30 for Friday, June 2

O'KEEFE FIELD TRIP  
BUS:  Leaves at 8:35 Returning for 2:30

• Wear comfortable shoes with socks.  No sandles or flip flops please, as there is a lot of walking throughout the day. 
• Wear sunscreen & bring a hat (bonnet or period straw hat ;-).)
• Bring lots of water to drink
• Bring a large snack and lunch
• Bring a toonie for candy store, if permitted
• Bring your packed backpack on the bus with you!

 Parent Volunteers:   Please meet in class 8:20 am to get information package as well as to arrange rides/groups.

Pioneer outfits.
Girls:
dresses, aprons,  bonnets or straw hats
Boys:
long shorts, collared shirts, poor-boy hats

Pioneer Cooking

Tomorrow students will participate in traditional pioneer cooking.  Students will grind grain, make bread and butter, as well as home made ice cream.  Students should wear short sleeve shirts.  Long hair should be tied back.  We are going to have a great day making and eating great food!
